Author, Translator, Editor
Yaacov David Shulman is the author, translator and editor of fifty books of Jewish spiritual and literary meaning.
He has translated, edited and written books dealing with Breslov Hasidism and the teachings of the Piaseszner Rebbe (also known as the Aish Kodesh), and the teachings of Rav Avraham Yitzchak Kook. He has translated books by Rabbi Israel Meir Lau (former Chief Rabbi of Israel), Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, and Professor Zvi Mark (foremost expert on Breslov Hasidism). He also has written a series of biographies of great rabbis for young adults, and he has written a number of books of poetry, the most recent being poems written in encounter with the teachings of Rav Kook.
